Thinking about joining the Pembleton family? Whether you're dreaming of carving through the countryside in a V-Sport three-wheeler or cruising the coast in a T24 roadster, we know you’ll have questions—and we’re here to answer them.
As a low-volume, hand-built sports car manufacturer, our process, products and ownership experience are a little different from the norm (in the best possible way). So we’ve gathered some of the most frequently asked questions to give you clear, honest answers and help you decide if a Pembleton is the right fit for your journey.

How long do I have to wait for a Pembleton?
The waiting list for a Pembleton T24 or V-Sport can vary, so it's important to bear this in mind when planning your purchase as you're unlikely to get your car straightaway. The lead time fluctuates from as little as 6 months up to as long as 24 months, but tends to settle around 1 year. Feel free to call or email us to find out the current lead time.
Can I use E10 fuel?
Yes! Both engine options; the V75 and V85 are compatible with both E10 and E5 fuel.
Can I adjust the seats?
Of course! Our bespoke bench system offers adjustment to suit any length of leg whilst the steering wheel is also adjustable for extra comfort so you're able dial in your perfect driving position. (our service technician is 6ft5 and is able to drive with comfort). We can also offer additional padding for those particularly short in the leg
What is the fuel capacity/range?
The T24 has a 32L fuel tank that can achieve up to 430 miles from one tank whilst V-Sport has a 27L fuel tank and can achieve up to 350 miles from one tank.

How do I look after the aluminium body work?
A bare aluminium car can be a daunting prospect, but fear not. We use a high, marine grade aluminium on the external body panels that is highly resistant to corrosion. To maintain the finish of the aluminium body we recommend using Autoglym Metal Polish. There is more information on the maintenance of your Pembleton here...
Where can I service my car?
We have worked hard to make the ownership experience as seamless and stress free as possible. Whether it's the playful V-Sport three wheeler or the thrill of the T24 roadster, every car is offered with a complimentary first service as well as a year long warranty for peace of mind but beyond that, there is a detailed servicing schedule in the owners manual.
Each car is designed with maintenance in mind; the air-cooled V-Twin negates the requirements for liquid coolant, whilst checking the oil level couldn't be simpler, theres is a glass window on the side of the engine block so you can check levels at a glance even without opening the bonnet... Beneath the bonnet there is easy access to the front brake pads, the brake fluid reservoir, the fuse box and the battery for hassle-free service work.
Now if mechanical maintenance isn't your thing, of course we offer in-house servicing at Pembleton HQ but we also understand that this isn't always convenient. In the last few years we have been working closely with a select number of garages dotted around the UK who have become approved Pembleton servicing partners. This means they come recommended by Pembleton Motor Company to carry out almost all of your servicing requirements for greater ownership convenience.* This is a new and growing service we offer and we plan to expand our network to cover more of the UK in the coming years making servicing your Pembleton even easier.
What is the tax cost/category?
At the time of writing the T24 comes under the PLG class (private/light goods vehicle) and costs £220 annually, whilst the V-Sport is taxed as a Tricycle in Tax Class 50 which costs £121 annually.
Is a Pembleton ULEZ compliant?
Yes! Both models and engine variants are ULEZ compliant so can be enjoyed in the hustle and bustle of inner city motoring at no extra cost.
How much does a Pembleton cost to insure?
Unfortunately there isn't a 'one size fits all' when it come to insurance. We have a list of recommended insurers all of which cover Pembleton, however the price will depend on circumstances such as your location, age, mileage driving history etc... For more information feel free to contact us to find out more about our recommended insurers.
Can I buy a Pembleton outside of the UK?
The short answer is yes, the long answer as is that as it stands currently our models are designed and manufactured to be registered for UK roads. Although we're able to build you your dream Pembleton (including left-hand drive), we cannot guarantee registration in your country as each country has different legislation and registration requirements. If you wish to try and register your Pembleton in another country we're able to advise and assist where possible. Just because our vehicles are designed for UK roads, it doesn't mean it's not possible to register them elsewhere. We're continually working towards entering our cars into different markets in the future. How do I buy a Pembleton?
You will need to express your intent to buy a Pembleton, either over the phone, via email or in person stating which model you're interested in at which point we will send over T&Cs for you to read. To finally secure your Pembleton build slot we require a deposit of £5000 and for the T&Cs to be signed and returned. Now for the exciting part, you've entered an exclusive wait list whilst we begin the process of curating your dream Pembleton. Shortly after receiving the T&Cs we will be in contact to detail the next steps, offer assistance during the specification process and inform you of your delivery date. Once your specification has been finalised and signed off by both parties we will send over a final statement with the cost for your Pembleton. The total cost (minus the £5000 deposit) will then be split over 3 equal stage payments, the first of which will be invoiced when we start construction and the final payment on receipt of the car with the second payment at the half way stage.
