The Late Brake Show T24 Review

Have you checked out The Late Brake Show's most recent review of our Pembleton T24 yet? If not, here’s what Jonny had to say about our new roadster. To give you an overview of the 27-minute review, Jonny dived into our history and Pembleton’s origin, our factory, T24’s tech specs, driving impressions, unique suspension, wheels and tyres, chassis and dimensions, storage and boot space, and gives his verdict.

Jonny Smith got his hands on the £32,995 (+VAT) four-wheeled Pembleton T24. We also make a three-wheeler, but this four-wheeler is our newest model, featuring front-wheel drive, independent suspension, disc brakes all round, and either a 79bhp 850cc air-cooled twin-cylinder engine or a 750cc unit. Since the Pembleton T24 weighs just 361 kilos, this results in over 218 horsepower per tonne, a fairly impressive ratio for such a compact, minimalistic vehicle.

Embodying the philosophy of "less is more," the T24 delivers a refreshingly authentic driving experience. Its simple mechanics and unfiltered engagement with the road offers delightful surprises around every corner.

Pembleton T24’s lightweight and skinny tires are designed to provide the most enjoyment and the thrill of driving without the typically high costs associated with performance cars. Not only does this keep the running costs down, but it also aligns with a growing trend in the automotive industry for efficiency and lower environmental impact.

It's also interesting to note that each Pembleton vehicle is individually made to order, with a production run of just 10 cars per year. This gives each one a level of exclusivity and the ability for the owner to be part of the process.

The T24's uniqueness doesn't stop with its performance characteristics. The vehicle's design draws inspiration from the style of the 1920s and 1930s, and it features an aluminium body, wire wheels, and a minimalistic interior. All these elements contribute to a distinct, classic aesthetic that sets it apart from modern vehicles.

The Pembleton T24 is a thrilling, fun vehicle that isn't demanding on the pocket or the environment. And perhaps most importantly, it stirs emotions and a passion for driving that is often forgotten in our modern, fast-paced world. All things considered, the T24 is a celebration of motoring in its purest form. It's a fantastic reminder of why we fell in love with cars in the first place.
