Dambusters Sortie 2005

The Dambusters Run is run through the wonderful Lincolnshire Wolds, organised by Colin Wilson whose wonderfully
detailed Brooklands is nearing completion, and can be seen in the photos below. Colin and his family did a smashing job of hosting us and organising the event - unfortunately the turn out was low, but those of you who didn't come missed a superb day, so book early next year! |

Just when you thought things wre getting a tad sensible, Crackleport strikes again.
The 2006 challenge is to score as many points as possible by driving through the many fords that are around and about (and by fords, I
mean watery crossing points, not mass produced tin-tops.
The score sheet with the rules are attached below as a Microsoft Word document. To find your local raging torrent, have a look in

Dambusters Sortie 2006

Following the successful inaugural Dambusters sortie in 2005, the 2006 event has been organised for 10th September 2006
by Colin Wilson.
The Dambusters Run is a chance for all owners and builders to meet in the Lincolnshire Wolds and then take a run out in
fantastic surroundings. There will be some spare seats for theose whose cars are still being crafted, sop don't be put off by not having a car.

Here we have some more exploits, in the form of three public information films made by Crackleport and Gear Gnasher.
Note that each one is about 5Mb and uses Quicktime (get it for free from here if you don't have it)
In the first Crackleport shows the effect of not having Baroness von Battenburg with you as a restraining influence when
undertaking hazardous operations
In the second we see the outcome of being allowed out on your own.
In the third we see Gear Gnasher showing how it should be done in the event that the Baroness is not seated beside you.
