Left—The mud splattered Hornet Right— Despite several ‘groundings’ Citroen engine passes Moto X test. David- Article received ok. What’s the story on the recumbent motorcycle. Was that the model they called the Flying Banana (once had Royce Creasly pass me on the ‘Quasar feet first on the Isle of Man in the 80's, boy was he moving. That was fitted with a Reliant engine) - Albert No, can't remember its name; they all have stupid ones.  Over the years CUMCC members NOT me have owned most of the known ff's including the flying banana and they are still obsessed with them (erstwhile engineering students I suppose);  the imp one seemed better sorted than most;  they all seem the same, very stable at speed, long wheelbase leading to hard work cornering,  funny instability as you go from 'steering the way you want to go' at low speed to 'tipping the bike into the corner by steering the opposite way' at higher speeds; usually seems to be at 20-odd mph and safe to crash as long as you hang on.  They are also never properly finished and they usually give away the gain in comfort with appalling lashed up controls!  They have trouble fitting a pillion seat in but usually achieve good luggage space.  Can't see the point myself;  if I wanted comfort I'd buy a 3 wheeler. - David Peter—I’ve only just recovered from watching ‘The Birth of Fang’ video on the Pembleton website. It looks like you both are progressing well. Have you any up to date news ? Pressing in the bearings with a specially made tool John took the ‘easy’ route and cleaned the parts with a wet blaster
