Yes the car is almost completed. I just have to adjust the electronic ignition (Lumenition) and the Ecas supercoil so that I get correct spark... I have been in contact with Roy Eastwood concerning the lack of + and - marks on the coil and I now hope that he will answer me. The first tests will have to wait as we have lots of snow here now and it is cold. I also have to go to Brussles tomorrow for a kick-off meeting for a project I am involved in so things wont be done this week.
It has been a really good time building the Grasshopper and my inspector will come out to me and put up the plans for the spring tests and finnaly the registration test. After that I will head for the open road! I have no a insurance for the car arranged. About the next project... I have been looking around and the Vortex threewheeler interests me. It can be powered with a bike engine or a electric motor. There are no kits only plans but that does not put me off. The tings that seems to be a major problem is that it uses Triumph spitfire front suspension parts and those must be impossible to find in Scandinavia... I have not decided on anything yet Anyway I have lots of model aricrafts not built... By the way the Model Aeroplane Scale World Championships will take place in Sweden in July and I will work there as speaker. Hope to be able to go there in my Pembleton.
Me and my wife will travel to Stoneleigh this year. We will stay Inkberrow with Dave Parr and wife. We really look forward to come over to the show and hope that the sun will be out this year too!
