I have drive the car approx 2500 kms without big problem, and will drive up to the end of October. You can see from the photo near the ‘50’ the sign 03. It’s the sign for the tax interruption of registration between 1th November and 28/28th February. (I can drive the car between 1st March and 31st October) Over the winter months I will fit the hood, modify few points a.s.o. Because I’m retired since two years I have time (and a heated garage) It’s my fourth three wheeler, after a DRK and a short time a Kindred Spirit and I discover the slowness with the 29bhp against my Buckland three-wheeler with approx 80bhp. But it is very very enjoyable with the GRASSHOPPER ! Ian—Also I have enclosed a 5 pound note and a 5 euro note for membership. If it’s not enough let me know this. Excuse my very school English. I’ll hope, you have understand me although. Always happy motoring and I hope to see you perhaps next year at Stoneleigh. Kind regards Gregor That was a super letter Gregor, I’m sure all the readers enjoyed it. Can you do me a favour ? When you fit the hood can you let me know how you get on. I’ve yet to see a Pembleton ‘covered’ Look forward to hearing from you again - Albert. Hi Crackleport Your Euro tour looked a right laugh I’m dead envious. It’s an incentive to make progress though. I’d nearly convinced myself to rip out the motor of my BMW 100RS and order the conversion parts from Phil Gregory but as you know I’ve just done 2500 miles island hopping through the Highlands and Hebrides and the old girls earned a reprieve. My hand is nearly recovered from a carpel tunnel decompression operation so I should soon be allowed back in the garage. It’s very slow on the Pemble front but the brake pipes have just arrived from Bonapart. Any tips on unrolling them neatly so they run straight between the mounting clips. The bends I can do neatly but the straight runs always come out wavy. By the way the chap at Bonapart mentioned that they are now making braided stainless steel oil lines for the rocker gear so I have indulged in a pair of them as well. Nice…… My major snag is the backlog of household chores...No change there then………………… Mark—How could you possibly break a bike that has given you years of service ? How much were the rocker feed pipes ? - Albert Oil pipes inc new banjo bolts and cu washers @ £32.50 + carriage + VAT— Mark
