So, on 1st November 2002, I was collected by Kirsty and drove from Aylsebury to south Wales. When we got there, I found out that not only did I now have a friend all the time in the form of chassis 11 but I had just collected another first. Not only was I the first Pembleton to be sold to a member of the public, but I was the first Pembleton to be owned by a woman!! While in Wales number 11 and I did several trips around the South Wales country side and made annual trips to the Uxbridge auto show on the outskirts of London and went to the Stonleigh show. My most significant achievement to date is completing the London to Brighton rally with number 11. We eventually lost the signs for Horsham and Guilford (believe me, that took some doing!!) and had a whale of a time driving through long forgotten lanes and wondering where the other cars on the rally were. Several hours later, we rolled into Maderia Drive, Brighton after successfully completing the prestigious London to Brighton run. The next stage in my life began only a few days ago, when I made the journey from Hayes, London to March, Cambridgeshire; where I will be living for some time in my very own garage. Look out Cambridgeshire, here I come!!! August 2000— Bought in Malvern by Gerry May 2001—Registered and road legal August 2001—Go to Malvern for first anniversary August 2002—Welsh Rally November 2002—Bought by Kirsty July 2005—Completed London to Brighton August 2005– Moved to Cambridgeshire , I wonder what will happen next ? Never mind, I’m sure it will be fun and now people know what happen to the illusive chassis No4. Goodbye for now Look out for a full report on how No4 and No11 did in the London to Brighton kit car run in the next edition of Pembletons are Go ! - Algy
