An Event!!!

Here we go Gents,
Announcement as follows :
Colin and Jacqui Wilson are organising a "Wolds Run" through the glorious Lincolnshire countryside on Sunday September the 11th starting from our house in Scampton first car
away 9.30 am.
A few more details :-
All Pembletons are Welcome for the event which will consist of a run of around 60 miles using reasonable navigational skills. This is NOT a speed event. After the event lunch will be available with the presentation of finishers awards.
We have good garage facilities and recovery A frame for any unfortunates !!
As people will be coming various distances a social gathering will be held in the
Dambusters pub on Saturday the 10th September We can offer accommodation for two adults FREE to the first entrant.
We also have plenty of space for hardier souls who like to camp.
We are only four miles from Lincoln cathedral so local B & B is not a problem for any one wishing to take in what the city has to offer. We have ample overnight parking.

Meanwhile:- our Brooklands.
At last some time became available and positive progress was made. The mods consist of a double skin floor, individual adjustable seats, floor mounted handbrake & a rather nice walnut dashboard. I had a alloy foam filled fuel tank made and have decided to complete all the rear of the car first. I picked up loads of tips from Pembletons are us and strongly recommend the use of back issues to avoid pitfalls such as putting all the body panels on first then spending a lot of time upside down in the footwell !!!!
