Tears at the lodge
By Algernon ’Oddball’ Headerbox
Tears at the lodge Little did I know when I drove Pootle from her birth place to her new home at the lodge that it would be our last drive together for months. Apart from the trip to the MOT station that’s it !!!!! Nothing !!!!
I know she is ok in her new luxurious double garage (that’s why I moved) but you know what- I’m missing her !!!! The sexy burble from her exhaust, the wonderful pulsating rhythm when I light her fire, the touch of her body on my fingertips, sensuous curves wherever I look, the sense of freedom when we are together ………...
What’s come over me ?????? I’ve forsaken my love for the ‘B & Q’ home improvements catalogue………….
For Ł5 we could go out into the country together…………………... Feel the wind in our face………………………
Smell the newly mowed hay……………………………………...Stop somewhere for a quiet drink ……….………………....
That’s it !!! Bollocks to this fu**ing bathroom tiling…….She needs me……………... I’m coming love !!!!!!
Website report - Well it’s finally going to happen !!!! Konrod Pistonslap has risen to the challenge and volunteered to revise our website. Using the experience gained from running his own site for the last 2 years (which covered his Brooklands build) Konrod has plenty of ideas on how to make it work. Mindful of what we are trying to achieve with the site he’d like to include more owners cars so if you would like to see yours in glorious technicolour on the web email him your shot and he’ll do the rest. It’s still not too late to put any ideas of your own forward either so if you have a wish list get in touch.
Konrod tells me he hopes to have the basis of the new site up and running by the beginning of July so log on to www.pembleton.co.uk and give him your support

Hi Timo
I saw your conversion project on your website and thought it was a great job. How do you fancy sending us a few details of the project. It would make a super article in our Pembleton newsletter. Our readers really enjoy technical sections. In exchange I will post you all the back issues of the ‘Pembletons are Go!’ newsletter for your enjoyment.
If you send me your postal address I will send them straight away. Look forward to hearing from you again Timo.
All the best Ian
Hi Ian
Thank you for the newsletters. I’ve read them with interest.
The conversion is done and the acceleration is whip lashing. After I return from my holidays I will write a report on the things we have done and include some pictures.
Regards Timo
